Marie (Duchy) Trachtenberg, MSW, LCSW-C, is President of To Create, Inc. and practices clinical social work at the Edson Lane Office, with a specialization in adolescents and substance abuse. Duchy is Program Chair and Newsletter Editor for the APHA's Alternative & Complementary Health Practices (ACHP) Special Primary Interest Group (SPIG), and a member of APHA's Governing Council. Duchy is also a on the Board of Directors of the National Organization for Women (NOW), and is President of the Montgomery County Chapter of NOW (MCNOW). She has gained a significant local and national reputation as a dedicated feminist and staunch advocate for the many women being abused by the system.
